Can computer you to become a better language learner?

My answer will be YES. Why? Well, these day the computer is an important medium in learning especially for students. Computers usually are used to connect to internet. So, it is common that computer can help in improve language learning. Besides that, it is easier to use software provided in the computer such as Microsoft Words in writing and language learning.

How effective is blogging in assisting you in the writing, publishing, ideas to write and writing skills?

Well, to be honest I’m not to confidence in writing in blogs. It’s not that I’ve never write before, but to me if you are writing in a blog you need to be fluent and expert in writing without having grammar mistakes and etc.

Somehow, I manage to get through because bit by bit I’ve manage to convince myself in writing and publish the work given by Dr. Norizan.

As for the ideas, I get it from surfing the internet, books, and also by blogging my course mates blogs. It took some time to get the idea, but sometimes the ideas come just like that.

Now, for the last posting I’ve manage to improve my writings and confidence. It was a tough journey though, but everything went well. I think I’m starting to like writing but still I need to improve my grammar skills.

If you are going to use computer to teach language one day which language learning website will you recommend?

But, personally I prefer face to face in language learning. In this way learner’s can communicate with the teacher and it will give more confidence in their self’s. Anyhow, it also depends on a person passionate whether they like something that are real or computerize.

Well looks like its end of the semester already….

The time  goes by so quickly…..The final exam is just around the corner…huhuhuuh…

~~~Why bad things happen???……

The story begins….

1st PART

This weekend was one of my friend wedding.I went to the wedding with my friends.
The wedding was quiet cool. There were real live band karaoke singer…heheheh…
Awesome ey..hehehe…The funny part was the singer didn’t look the audience
instead kept looking at the road. Weird, how come they are not brave enough to
the audience..mm..

2nd PART

We’ve arrived at the wedding around 12.30pm. Just on the dot after the bride have
arrived. After we took photo’s with the bride. Of course the new wed couple was more
‘shining’ than us. Here come the bad part, just out of the bloom we got scold just because
we were delaying the new wed to the dining table..uhuhuhuh….so cruel…My mood went
straight down..There’s not need to scold for that little reason. Not everyday your best friend
get married right? Of course we need to take pictures as memory…So unfortunate of us to be there..

3rd PART

On the way back to college we stopped by at a rest place. We went to pray and buy drinks. While
in the, I notice that my watch wasn’t in my beg. Oh no! I must have left it. I was just going to give up
but, luckily my friends went back to the place. Luckily the watch was still there. I guessed the watch is
old already that people are not interested in it. Even though, its rusty already it still meant something me.
A sentimental value…(-.-)/..

ENDING

Well, we arrive just in time. Although there so many obstacles through the way we still manage to
accomplish the journey. Alhamdulillah…

SUGGESTION

Maybe next time need to behave more..uhhuhu…

~ My Weekend~~~\(O.0)/

What a lovely weekend this week was. Got the time to relax, watching movie, eating, and window shopping.
The best part was I went to watch ‘Alice in Wonderland’. The movie was quiet good, even though the story
is a bit too nasty for underage children. But don’t worry there’s isn’t too much violence in it. The cat was so
cute. I wish I could have one just like in the movie- it can talk, disappear and annoy you. Cool ey? Maybe
one day when scientist can create a digital pet. Haahaha…

What do you think about online learning? Is it okay or not okay?

Well, due to the rapid use of internet people tends to use more internet. They use internet for many purposes depends on what kind of work are there doing. As for students, we often use internet to search for information, articles, and online language test. These online language test are useful especially for language students like the ELS.

Therefore for this post I have attach information about online language test. So, for more information you can refer below.

I’ve still remember this was one of my favorite poem during high school times ” Sonet 18″.

It’s a story about a lover written by ‘Shakespeare’…

Love is something that can’t be describe or categorized…. It’s a soft feeling deep in your heart…

When you someone it doesn’t mean that you need to be with him all the time…

It’s the memory which counts…….So…Please appreciate the love given while you still can……

In conclusion everyone can learn literature, there are not that hard. Due to nowadays all we need to do is internet.

‘CMC’…………..

what is ‘CMC’ ????  Can anyone help?

This is what i’ve found out…

Online Teaching and Learning in ELT by the editors Muhammad Kamarul Kabilan, Norizan Abdul Razak and Mohamed Amin Embi who all are lecturers in their respective universities.  Definition from Levy, 1997:

Levy (1997:79) defines CMC as “concerned with communication between two or more participants via a computer covering technological platforms such as e-mail, bulletin board, discussion list and computer conferencing, both text- and video-based”.

Two chapters in this book regarding CMC:

Use of Computer-Mediated Communication to Facilitate Second Language Acquisition and Computer-Mediated Communication in Literature Reading.

Overall with the globalization of English in this age of computer + technology requires CMC for online

activities such as discussion forums . Example like SPIN, Yahoo Groups and etc…
